Privacy Policy

1. Overview
This page is maintained by the GiStream team to answer common questions about how we handle information when you use GiStream API. It is not a certification and does not create legal obligations beyond what applies under law.
2. What we collect
Account data you provide (email, display name). Billing data required to process payments (handled by our payment processor — we store transaction identifiers and status, not card numbers). Operational data such as API request metadata (timestamps, IP for rate-limiting, requested slug, viewer identifier you pass in).
3. How we use it
To operate the service (authorizing viewers, enforcing plan limits, producing your realtime audit log), to bill you, to detect and prevent abuse, and to communicate about the service.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share operational data only with subprocessors that host and run the service on our behalf, and only to the extent needed to run it.
5. Subprocessors
Hosting and database: managed cloud infrastructure. Payments: QRIS/aggregator payment processor. If this list changes materially we will note it on the changelog page.
6. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is open. Audit logs of viewer requests are retained for a limited window sufficient to answer disputes and detect abuse, and then aged out.
7. Security
Secrets and API keys are transmitted only over TLS. Viewer manifests are signed and short-lived. You are responsible for keeping your own API secret confidential.
8. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by emailing support@gstreamlive.com from the address tied to your account. Some records (billing, security logs) may be retained where required by law.
9. Cookies
We use functional cookies and local storage strictly to keep you signed in and to remember partner-console preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
