Can I embed streams in my own website or app?

Yes — that is the whole point. GiStream returns a signed HLS manifest; drop it into hls.js, video.js, AVPlayer, ExoPlayer, or any HLS-capable player.

Do I need to bring my own player?

No. Any HLS player works. There is no SDK to install — just fetch the manifest with your API key.

How fast is revocation?

Under five seconds end-to-end. There are no shared caches ahead of the session-bound proxy.

What is a slug?

A slug identifies a stream by name and date. Each date counts as its own slug on the monthly plan.

Is this good for communities and side projects?

Yes. Per-view pricing is designed for hobby projects and small communities; the monthly plan is for teams shipping steady traffic.
